Built a Mosque in a Bangladeshi Village

A heartfelt initiative to bring spiritual peace and unity to an underserved community has come to fruition. Our initiative of “Building a Mosque in a Remote Village of Bangladesh” campaign successfully provided a fully functional mosque to a village that had long been without a dedicated place for prayer and learning. What began as a vision of hope is now a beautiful reality, built through collective compassion and generosity.

The Problem?

In the remote countryside of Bangladesh, access to basic infrastructure remains a daily struggle. For years, a village of over 300 people practiced their daily prayers without a mosque. Congregational prayers, especially the Jumu’ah (Friday prayer), were held in open fields or under temporary shelters, exposing worshippers to the elements and limiting participation, especially for the elderly and children. This lack of a proper place of worship also meant no structured space for Quranic education, religious discussions, or community gatherings. The absence of a mosque left a spiritual gap in the village’s heart.

How Minerix Charity Solved the Issue?

In May 2024, Minerix Charity launched a heartfelt initiative to build a mosque in a remote village of Bangladesh—a place where the local community had long prayed for a proper space to gather, worship, and grow spiritually.

Thanks to the incredible support of our donors, we successfully raised $62,000 to bring this vision to life.

Project Timeline & Completion
Start Date: May 2024

Completion Date: March 2025

Over the course of 10 months, the mosque was built from the ground up with care, cultural respect, and community involvement.

Funding & Expenses
Out of the total amount raised, $61,931.18 was directly invested into:

Land acquisition

Structural construction

Interior finishing and prayer space setup

Perimeter boundary walls for security and sanctity

This wasn’t just about bricks and concrete

it was about creating a spiritual home. A space where generations will come together in prayer, education, and unity.

A Gift That Lasts for Generations
This project stands as a shining example of what Minerix Charity aims to achieve: long-term, meaningful impact rooted in faith and community. The new mosque now serves hundreds of villagers, offering not only a place of worship but also a center for peace, learning, and togetherness.

We thank every donor who made this dream a reality. Your contribution has not only built a mosque—it has built a legacy of blessings.
